Edit: Thanks for admitting to it in your reply! Straight from the horse's mouth. First: "after cleaning, Brian locked the front door, placed the key under the door mat, and closed the front balcony door on his way out. To access the key, the front balcony door needed to be opened first, but it was locked while the key remained under the front mat." Next: "The key was mistakenly placed in the neighbour’s letterbox." Take it from B'Bright themselves! They're obviously trying to cover their asses in response to breaking the law like this in their reply, but they admit to both actions themselves. If you don't want your key locked inside then left in your neighbour's letterbox, avoid B'Bright! :) Avoid John and Brian particularly. THEIR CLEANER BRIAN LOCKED MY KEY ON THE FRONT BALCONY - UNACCESSIBLE AS THE FRONT DOOR IS LOCKED. HE LEFT WITHOUT TELLING ME, HAVING VERBALLY CONFIRMED AS I LEFT IN THE MORNING AFTER HANDING OVER THE KEY THAT HE WOULD INFORM ME PRIOR TO LEAVING SO I COULD COLLECT THE KEY AND VISUALLY INSPECT THE WORK. AS OTHERS HAVE SAID THEY ALSO QUOTED ME 650 THEN CHARGED 830 ON THE DAY. SEEMS LIKE THEY DELIBERATELY UNDERQUOTE TO SUCK PEOPLE IN THEN INCREASE ON THE DAY WHEN YOU CAN'T BACK OUT. EDIT: THE SAGA CONTINUED. THE CLEANER THEN RETURNED TO THE PROPERTY DESPITE MY EXPRESSLY TELLING THEM NOT TO AS THEY WOULD ONLY MAKE THE SITUATION WORSE, SOMEHOW RE-ENTERED, LEFT OUR FRONT DOOR WIDE OPEN, THEN LEFT THE KEY IN OUR NEIGHBOUR'S MAILBOX, CLAIMING IT WAS IN OURS. WHEN I CONTACTED THEIR ADMIN TEAM JOHN THE OPERATIONS MANAGER LIED AND SAID: ""For clarity, Brian had previously been instructed not to close the front balcony door on a prior occasion, which is why he deliberately left it open this time. We do not understand why this has now been raised as an issue. Brian has already explained this to your partner at the property." HE WAS NEVER INSTRUCTED TO LEAVE ANY DOORS OPEN, NOR DID HE SAY ANYTHING TO MY PARTNER. IT IS CONCERNING THAT A CLEANING COMPANY DENIES DOING SO IS AN ISSUE.

The clean was okay enough. My problem is with the experience and the level of care they had for my property and their tendency to lie and not take accountability for their mistakes. First off, they quoted a price and increased it on the day by a lot (screenshot attached) despite me giving them ample explanation of what to expect. That’s fine, kind of sucks but what can you do, I had no choice but to go ahead. The cleaner texts me around 5pm saying they’re finished and they’ve locked up the house (screenshot attached). The next morning I go to the property and find that they haven’t locked up the house; the front door is wide open and all of the lights are on. I check with my neighbour and she says it’s been like that all night. When I go inside, I see that the cleaner has also damaged some cupboard doors with water (the wood is swelling). Screenshot of before and after attached. When I contacted B Bright about this it was to let them know that this was my experience and that I was not satisfied with the experience given I paid over one thousand dollars for the clean. I didn’t ask for a refund, I just thought I’d let them know so that they could find ways to improve the customer experience in the future. But instead of taking it seriously or replying to me professionally, they simply forwarded my email to their cleaner who then replied saying I was making it up. I understand that he would likely lie to save himself from getting in trouble, but the issue I have is that their admin lady has just forwarded the cleaners email through rather than addressing my concerns. I felt like I was trying to have a conversation with an immature teenager rather than a professional business. I spoke to my property manager who said she wouldn’t be pursuing me for the cost to repair, so I didn’t chase B Bright for the cost to repair either. Why would I? But they used this as ‘proof’ that they caused no damage. To be clear, they absolutely did, but they just didn’t have to fix it. Overall, I’m really not happy with the level of care and service I was provided. The clean itself was okay, a few things were missed but I am an ex property manager so I tend to have a keen eye for that sort of thing whereas the average person wouldn’t notice. I didn’t like that they didn’t feel reliable. I was quoted a price, double checked it, and then it increased on the day when I had no choice but to go ahead. The cleaner leaves my house open, and damages my cupboard doors, and then lies about it and says it wasn’t him. Then the company admin thinks this rebuttal is a solution for addressing my concerns. All in all, I feel like for a thousand dollars you can probably get a bond clean with better customer service. This review is being posted after I tried resolving directly with B Bright. If my concerns had been addressed professionally I wouldn’t have posted. Since they wanted to respond to this review and deny it all, I’ve decided to edit my review and provide proof. Do better B Bright. I used to recommend your business when I was a property manager and now I tell all of my connections in the industry to stay away. All you had to do was acknowledge my concerns like professionals, but instead you have lied to try to discredit me.

We were extremely disappointed with the bond clean completed by this company for the previous tenant of our new rental. When we moved in, the property was left in a very poor condition, with significant areas clearly not cleaned to an acceptable standard. After the issues were raised, the company contacted us requesting access with only one hour’s notice to return. During that conversation, we were also advised that their bond clean does not include grout cleaning, blinds, or removal of bugs from light fittings and ceilings, which are areas many tenants would reasonably expect to be addressed in a thorough end-of-lease clean. Based on both the condition of the property and the limitations they outlined, we did not feel confident that a second visit would resolve the concerns. A bond clean should leave a property ready for new tenants to move into comfortably. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. I do not recommend this company.

Quoted us $600, on the day the charged us over $1000. They could have given us a reasonable quote before hand, or send someone prior to cleaning day to give an accurate quote. Of course once they get there, there's little time and very difficult to cancel and engage another company. This is fraud

I just want to say thanks to B’Bright team for doing our end of lease cleaning at our 2BR apartment. We got out full bond refunded. The whole apartment was spotless and sparkling clean. Highly recommended and will use again in the future.
