If I could give negative stars, I would. Absolute scammers. I booked a bond / pre sale clean, quoted me 11 hours to do the work. Cleaner called me the day before saying that she wouldn’t be able to come until around 3pm or she would need to reschedule the clean. Tried to contact the office continually and they answered my first call and then told me they would call me back and didn’t. Tried calling them several times throughout the day and obviously they are screening my number because now they just do not answer. The cleaners are contracted workers, they aren’t actual employees of the company. The cleaner even bad mouthed the company while she was here. The cleaner rearranged her day to come and do the rug cleaning at 930am, was going to leave afterwards for another task and then come back. After cleaning the rugs, she asked me to pay upfront for the work before coming back. I was not going to pay full price for a service that was not even completed to some person who I don’t know. What was stopping her from taking the money and not returning? Plus I wanted to see the finished product prior to paying. I paid her for the rug clean and told her not to bother coming back because the whole experience with her and the company was just awful. Now I’m trying to get my deposit refunded as the service was not done and I foresee it being another uphill battle

Scammers don’t waste your money. I had to call 4 times to confirm they were coming. They arrived hours late, said they would be done in 4 hours, I go to the property 6 hours later they’re still cleaning with both air conditioner units blasting and the doors and windows open. Turns out there was at least 4 men there cleaning a one bedroom apartment late into the night. I asked why there were still there and was told they had to go collect more product and equipment because they didn’t bring everything they needed. I requested a partial refund and they refused. The exit condition report was not satisfactory however my wonderful building managers said they’d take care of it because of how terrible the cleaners were

Do not recommend Australia Cleaning. They contract other companies to do the work and when they arrived to do our bond clean made us pay the full amount even though we had put down a deposit so we ended up needing a refund. We booked a pest control that was never done. The cleaning was in no way professional and they missed simple tasks like cleaning the toilet, dusting the blinds & cleaning window tracks. When we reached out to have these rectified we were told we were too late (which was untrue according to their policy) - we explained this and they eventually said we were correct. An absolute waste of money!

Wish I could rate this place lower than 1 star. Horrible experience from Austral from the get-go, the cleaner cold-called me without introducing herself, and was very rude in setting up details for the clean over the weekend. When arriving she also insisted that she didn't work for the company and went on a rant about how poorly they treat her, and insisted we pay additional costs 50% more than the original price quoted which had to be paid directly via bank transfer before she would even start the job. She repeatedly called throughout the day rather than continuing the job, somehow taking over a full day to clean a three bedroom house, to the point that she had to come back on Sunday to even start doing the carpets. When we received the report back from the real estate agent, we contacted Johnson in their admin team who refused to send somebody back despite it being within 5 days since the cleaner finished the job. The cleaner than gave me a very angry call about contacting the company instead of her directly. Luckily she returned to complete the job but I was genuinely concerned about giving her access to the property a second time. After all this, the house was still not up to standard and we spent hours doing additional cleaning. Finally in trying to get further information around our invoice, Austral started screening my and my partners calls and refused to get back to us. Both the cleaner and the company were horrible to deal with, and cost us a lot of stress and hours we will never get back.

Why did I not read the reviews. This is my only 1 star review I have ever made, very disappointed. My experience was the cleaner walked through the 4-bedroom town house and said everything would require "extra cleaning" so my quote immediately went up almost 50% before they started (the place was not messy just the normal amount of build-up in kitchen draws etc. and carpets were already professionally cleaned). Outside of glass doors weren't included in the price because that is outside and extra. Walls are supposed to be spot cleaned, no wall cleaning happened at all. Skirting was dirty, blinds also not included, but they make you acknowledge all this before they start cleaning and I did not have enough time to find another cleaner. There were lots of spot marks left in showers, sinks and toilets and some parts missed altogether. Real estate did not think the place was professionally cleaned. The experience trying to resolve has not been much better. Attached just a couple of photos that required me to do extra cleaning.
