I booked this service based on the exceptional Google reviews, hoping for a quick and hassle-free moving experience. Unfortunately, my experience fell well short of expectations. The booking process started fine. I confirmed my Monday appointment and was told someone would arrive at 11am. I arrived to let them in and waited 15 minutes, but no one showed. I understand things can get busy, so I left the key in a safe spot and messaged to let them know they could access the property when they arrived. Later that afternoon, I was told they were running behind due to a staff injury but assured the job would be completed by 8am Tuesday. I was understanding and appreciated the update. However, that’s where things started to unravel. By Tuesday morning, the clean still wasn’t done — and I received no communication about any further delays. On Wednesday, I got a message saying the job had been completed the day before, so I went to check. To my surprise, it wasn’t finished. Someone was still there cleaning carpets when I arrived. When I returned later that day for inspection, it was clear several areas had been missed — the garage, for example, hadn’t been touched, so I ended up sweeping it myself just before handing the keys back. The following Monday, my real estate agent advised that the property hadn’t passed the bond clean inspection. This wasn’t about quality — several items just hadn’t been done at all, and photos were provided as proof. I contacted the cleaners again and, despite being a week past the original booking, asked if they could return on Tuesday to complete the missed tasks. They agreed via text. Unfortunately, Tuesday came and went with no updates or action. After several attempts to reach them, I visited the property Wednesday evening — only to find the work still incomplete. I sent a message expressing my disappointment at being repeatedly over-promised and under-delivered. At 6:30am Thursday, I received another message saying the job was finally done, but they were “working out how to send photos” as proof. I went back to check — and again, nothing had been done. After more than a week and paying over $1,000, the bond clean I was promised simply wasn’t completed. I ended up cleaning the windows, laundry, garage, and walls myself. I don’t normally write reviews, but I’m extremely frustrated with the poor communication, repeated false assurances, and failure to deliver the service I paid for. I consider myself a reasonable person, and if there had been honesty and transparency throughout, I probably wouldn’t be leaving this review. While many others seem to have had great experiences, mine, unfortunately, was a one-star experience. edit - I was contacted by the business recently and offered a partial refund of $250 which has been paid for not completing their service
